About me as a Dog Trainer

My journey in dog training began at Wags and Whiskers of the Wiregrass, where I received formal education funded by the company for six months. Over my tenure of more than two years with them, I honed my skills and grasped the fundamentals of dog training.

My passion for working with dogs continues to drive me towards further education and growth in the field. I am committed to empowering all dogs, especially retrievers, to achieve their fullest potential, whether it’s in service dog training, search and rescue missions, or police work. As I am only a new trainer, I still have much to learn and will only work on foundational skills for now. Then, I will start working on much more as I feel I will be ready for more.

As a positive-based trainer, I believe in rewarding dogs with treats, much like we are rewarded for our efforts. Love and compassionate communication are central in my approach to training, emphasizing the bond between human and animal.

While I never promise perfection, I assure my clients and their furry companions that I will always strive for excellence, continually expanding my knowledge and techniques in dog training.

Board and Train Program: Our Board and Train program is designed for owners who prefer comprehensive training for their dogs in a structured environment. During this program, your dog stays with us at Southern Belle Kennels, where they receive intensive training sessions tailored to their specific needs.

Duration: You can choose between a 2-week or 4-week program based on your dog’s evaluation and training goals.

Cost:

2 weeks: $800
4 weeks: $1,200

Day Train Program: Our Day Train program offers similar training benefits as Board and Train, with the convenience of having your dog at home in the evenings and on weekends. This program is ideal for owners who prefer to be more involved in their dog’s daily routine.

Duration: Monday to Friday, either for 2 weeks or 4 weeks.

Pick-up/Drop-off: You drop off your dog in the morning and pick them up in the afternoon.
